Donny Prater is a Christian man that is passionate about helping other men build meaningful relationships and unite as warriors for the Kingdom.  Donny has witnessed men come alive in Christ and take back what the enemy has stolen by engaging together in spiritual warfare. He is the co-founder of Unchained Men’s Ministries and is a published Christian author with the Auguset 2006 release of his first work "A Warrior Culture: Surrounding Yourself with Dangerous Men of God".   In addition to writing books, Donny is an active online Christian writer.  His blog A Man Coming Alive in Christ has a large reader base that logs on to read about his daily walk with God and what he learns along the way.   He also is a contributing writer for the  Promise Keepers Ambassador's website.

Donny is a 1993 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is an Environmental, Health and Safety Professional.  He and his family are members of the First Church of God Wildwood Ministries where he has held various leadership positions through the years including Church Council Member, Men’s Ministry Leader, and Youth Counselor.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing, golfing, coaching soccer, and just about anything that has to do with the outdoors.  He and his wife Marci make there home in Ashland, Kentucky with their son Will, and their Golden Retriever Napoleon.
